Monetyzer (“we”, “us”) provides link reporting and scanning for YouTube descriptions. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

  • Account data: name, email, and login credentials.
  • OAuth data: when you connect Google/YouTube, we receive tokens that allow read‑only access to your channel data.
  • Channel data: channel IDs, titles, video metadata, and description text needed to extract links.
  • Link data: URLs extracted from descriptions and scan results (status, response codes, timestamps).
  • Usage data: scan counts, report history, and product usage analytics.

How We Use Data

  • Provide link reports and scans.
  • Detect broken or risky links and generate reports.
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the service.
  • Send product and scan notifications.

Google/YouTube API Data

Monetyzer uses YouTube API data strictly to read channel/video metadata and description content for link extraction and scanning. We do not use this data for advertising or profiling. We do not sell or share YouTube API data with third parties except as required to operate the service (e.g., infrastructure providers).

We store OAuth tokens securely and only for as long as needed to provide the service. You can disconnect your Google account at any time, which disables API access.

Monetyzer’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with trusted service providers (hosting, email delivery, analytics) only to operate the service. These providers are contractually required to protect your data.

Security

We use industry‑standard security practices to protect your data. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work hard to safeguard your information.

Data Retention

We retain scan reports and related data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion at any time.

Your Choices

  • Disconnect Google/YouTube access anytime from your account.
  • Request export or deletion of your data by contacting us.
